Arno Van den Abbeel is technical coördinator at the Women’s Football Acadamy (WFA,Leuven) and assistant-coach of OH Leuven Women (Score Super League), he combines his job with a role as head coach of the Belgian U15 boys squad. Arno has a Master degree in Movement Sciences and is a UEFA-A licensed coach.
A decade of experience as a high performance coach within the RBFA, he helped develop players like Aster Vranckx (Wolfsburg), Hannah Eurlings (OHL & Red Flames), Romeo Lavia (Man City), and many more.
His main role in the Women’s Football Academy is to guard and develop the high performance culture (detection, formation & programmation).
How to translate a game model into individual profiles and how to create a game plan focusing on connecting the game model & individual profiles against different opponents exploiting weakness and controlling strengths of the opponent.
