Sustainability is a journey, and the professional sports industry, with its organisations of different sizes, has widely just started this journey.

In the GSBS Report from 2021, the Global Sustainability Benchmark in Sports (GSBS) has achieved the first truly compelling and in-depth status quo report of the professional sports industry, regarding the professional sports industry – based on the data of some of the biggest, most influential, and iconic organisations of the industry.

In this context the GSBS is able to provide insights, among others, about the different sustainability approaches and different stages of organisations, ESG investments, demands by the public, sponsors and other stakeholder groups.

The presentation will have an additional focus on internal and external ESG investments, including examples, as well as an outlook.
