Edgar Filipe Martins Cardoso
Edgar Filipe Martins Cardoso is a holder of MSc in Sports Science and Physical Education. He has been a head coach at SL Benfica in U9/U11 for 12 years (2002 – 2014). Also, he won the National Championship and the Runners Up Portuguese Cup (2008 – 2012) twice as a Head Coach in the women’s team. Additionally, he worked for 6 Years (2014 – 2020) at Aspire Academy as U18 Assistant Coach and U15 Head Coach. Last but not least, he was Assistant Coach at U21 and U23 (Olympic Team) Qatar which Qualified for the Asian Cup (2017-2019). Edgar Filipe Martins Cardoso is Head of Youth at FC Shakhtar – (2020 – today).

The presentation includes videos explaining one day in Shakhtar FC. Edgar Filipe Martins Cardoso will introduce as to the Shakhtar FC training manifesto. Additionally, the training techniques will be discussed and the relation of the academy with the first team will be analyzed.
“Talent Development – Shakhtar training process“
The Workshop includes the long term athlete development program of Shakhtar FC with emphasis given in the field of scouting. Also, the speaker will show as the Shakhtar FC training style. Lastly, he will provide videos to the audience to explain the major differences between training and competition.
