Antonis Kouris

Antonis Kouris was born in 1983 in Lefkimmi, Corfu. In 2005, he graduated from the Department of Physical Education and Sport Science (T.E.F.A.A.) in Athens, and in 2010, he completed his postgraduate studies at Loughborough University, earning an MSc in Exercise Physiology.

He holds a UEFA B coaching license, is a certified EXOS Performance Specialist (Level 1), and is also a member of the UKSCA (UK Strength and Conditioning Association).

Among his specialized academic research areas are overtraining syndrome and maximizing athletic performance. One of his most notable scientific publications, titled “Salivary cortisol and testosterone responses to high-intensity cycling before and after an 11-day intensified training period,” was published in the Journal of Sports Sciences.

Professionally, he has served as a strength and conditioning coach for several football clubs, including:
