Workshop (second day): Debunking fitness myths in soccer
In modern soccer, many long-standing fitness beliefs continue to shape how players are trained, often without strong scientific support. This presentation aims to challenge and debunk some of the most common myths surrounding physical preparation in soccer, bridging the gap between tradition and evidence-based practice. By combining research insights with real-world applied experience, it will provide a clearer understanding of what truly drives performance, supports player development, and reduces injury risk. The goal is simple: move beyond outdated assumptions and focus on doing the basics well, with clarity, purpose, and impact.
