Workshop (second day): Caring for the Coach – Who supports the one who supports everyone else?
In high-performance football, coaches are often expected to deliver results: wins, titles, and consistent team performance. Yet behind the bench, there is a human being dealing with pressure, uncertainty, and emotional demands that often go unnoticed.
Despite these demands, many coaches do not actively take care of their mental health. For some, it remains a taboo. For others, it is perceived as a sign of weakness. As a result, support is often sought only when pressure has already reached a critical point.
This masterclass brings the focus back to the coach as a human being. It creates space to reflect, increases self-awareness, and introduces a different perspective: that vulnerability, when understood and managed, can become a source of strength and clarity.
In this workshop, participants will explore:
- The psychological demands and pressures of the coaching role
- Self-awareness and reflective practices
- Practical tools for managing pressure, emotional responses, and interpersonal challenges
- How the coach’s mental state directly impacts team performance
Why attend:
This is not about tactics or technical aspects of the game.
It is about you — the person behind the decisions.
You will gain practical strategies to manage pressure more effectively, enhance your decision-making, and operate with clarity, confidence, and mental resilience in demanding environments.
It’s time to reconnect with yourself, embrace your vulnerability, lead from a place of strength and start taking care of yourself.
