Gavin was a professional player for 14 years before becoming a coach.

He has worked as an Assistant manager and 1st Team coach in the English Football League.

He also worked for the Premier League side Watford as a Professional Development coach.

For the last 3 years, he has worked at Celtic FC where he has won 2 League Titles and ….. domestic cups. He has also been involved in last season's Group stages of the Champions League where they faced Real Madrid, RB Leipzig, and Shakhtar Donetsk.
