George Mantaios

The leading reporter on developmental football issues in Greece. He works for the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (www.amna.gr), specializing in both youth football and the role of football agents. A professional journalist, he is a member of ESIEA (Journalists’ Union of Athens Daily Newspapers) and PSAT (Panhellenic Association of Sports Press).

He was a radio show host on ERA Sport from 2001 to 2008 and served as Director of Communications for AEL FC from 2009 to 2012. His contribution and dedication to developmental football were recently recognized when he was honored at the 2025 PSAT Awards.
