Georgios graduated from the Department of Physical Education & Sports Science of Thrace and football has always been his passion. After his graduation, he started working in Xanthi FC, a SuperLeague Greece Club, as Head of Rehabilitation. After 3 years, he joined the technical staff of Mr. Razvan Lucescu and followed him to PAOK FC as Head of Rehabilitation and Fitness Coach (2017-2019) winning the domestic League (2019) and two Greek Cups (2018,2019). In the same role, the next stop was at Al Hilal Saudi FC in Saudi Arabia, where in the time of two seasons (2019-2021), Georgios won the historical tremble which included the Asian Champions League, MBS league and the Kings Cup.
From the summer of 2019, he is back in PAOK FC as Head of Rehabilitation & Fitness Coach.
Georgios has a Master’s Degree in Exercise and Quality of Life “Prevention – Intervention – Rehabilitation” from the Democritus University of Thrace and a Master in Football Conditioning from the Football Science Institute (FSI).
He has attended multiple conferences as an invited speaker regarding Rehabilitation & Performance

Methods, facts and things to (re)-consider while planning a recovery session
Which is the definition of recovery? Which are the real needs direct after competition ? What happens if the next game is after 3 days? What happens if the next game is in one week? Do all methods really work? Am I missing something?
These are daily questions professionals all over the world need to find answers to, especially in a very high competitive level.
In this presentation we will try to break down every single inch of the recovery process, starting from the very end of the game, until the very last moment that the players will compete again.
Which methods can be applied to specific scenarios, which methods really work in our favor, which ones we underestimate and what steps we should follow in every moment.
Simple ways to enhance performance and deal with fatigue, methods that can be used from Semi to full professional level and some insight from my approach to recovery.
After all, things might be simpler than we think they are.
