Giannis Antonopoulos

Giannis Antonopoulos is a Performance & Tactical Analyst with 15 years of experience in elite football environments across Greece and European competitions. He is currently part of Panathinaikos FC, while he has also worked with the National Team, AEK FC (in two separate spells), where he contributed to winning the domestic double in 2023, and Atromitos FC.

With an academic background in Engineering, coaching qualifications, and specialization in football analysis, he focuses on bridging data, video analysis, and tactical insights to optimize performance and decision-making in modern football.

Workshop (second day): Opponent Analysis & Live Insights: From Weekly Process to Matchday Decisions and Set Pieces in Modern Football: From Data to Decision-Making

Giannis will present his philosophy on opponent analysis, focusing on the weekly process, key points, and the effective delivery of information to the team.

He will then develop the topic of live analysis, explaining its purpose, methodology, key areas of focus, and how it is translated into practical, on-field application.

In addition, Giannis will deliver a second presentation within the set pieces module, focusing on the analysis process, data collection, and information filtering, with the aim of producing clear and actionable insights.
