With experience across both professional football and education, Vaggelis is currently Chief Scout at NEOM SC, and previously part of clubs such as Nottingham Forest as Global Scouting Coordinator and Coventry City as Video Scout, his journey combines a Master's in Football Coaching and Analysis from UCFB, UEFA coaching qualifications, and hands-on experience in recruitment, player development, and value creation.

In the first part, we approach squad building from every key perspective — playing identity, style of play, budget allocation, succession planning, positional depth, and many other factors that shape this highly engaging process. You will gain an understanding of how elite clubs plan across multiple time horizons, balancing performance and sustainability.

In the second part, the session also highlights how clubs use AI within the scouting workflow, dramatically increasing the speed and scale of their operations.
