Vokolos Leonidas

Leonidas Vokolos is a former international footballer with a rich career in both Greece and abroad.
Key milestones in his playing career include Panathinaikos, PAOK, and Panionios, with whom he won the Greek Cup in the 1998 season. He has made a total of 30 appearances in the UEFA Champions League and has been capped 7 times with the Greek National Men's Team.

He began his coaching career in the 2007-2008 season with the Panathinaikos FC Academy. He then joined the Greek National Team setup, coaching the U17 and U19 squads between 2009 and 2011. From 2011 to 2014, he served as assistant coach to Fernando Santos in the Men's National Team guiding the team to the final stage of the FIFA World Cup in Brazil..

In 2014, he was appointed Technical Director of Panathinaikos FC, a position he held until 2016. The following season (2016-2017), he made the move abroad to take on the same role at Sparta Prague.

During the 2019-2020 season, he worked as head coach for Olympiacos Volos and Panionios, while in 2020-2021, he took over as manager of Olympiakos Nicosia in Cyprus.
He achieved notable success with Kallithea FC during the 2021-2023 period, which led to his appointment as head coach of PAS Lamia for the 2023-2025 seasons, during which he had two stints at the helm. In his first term, he managed to lead the team to the championship playoff group, finishing in sixth place in the Greek Super League.
