Vaggelis is a graduate of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the University of Thessaly. He is a S&C coach and currently attending the international postgraduate master program in sports psychology at the university of Thessaly. He is working as S&C coach at the grassroots of A.O. Trikala at the U16 and at the women’s team Τheoni A.O Trikala.
Women’s game has a lot in common with men’s; however the scientific approach differs in particular stages of the training. The purpose of this presentation is to show a holistic training methodology in women’s football which will cover a broad range of the physical, technical and tactical approaches. How can we connect the physiological part of training with the tactical one, how the training is organized and how we manage the training loads to have the best possible results and healthy players simultaneously? We will attempt to answer these questions.
